A government should serve its citizens, not the interests of corporations and special interest groups. Politicians have spent decades waging a culture war as a distraction from the erosion of civil liberties. It’s time for government to work for the people, not special interests.

    • Outlaw book bans

    • Strengthen the protections of the Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act

    • Protect reproductive rights

    • Protect trans rights

  • The Colorado River is running dry and the future of the Western US hangs in the balance. A resilient Colorado River that supplies clean, affordable water to every community, farm, tribe, and ecosystem across the West—managed sustainably, equitably, and with the climate realities of the 21st century in mind is vital to the survival of the Western states. To do this we must:

    • All decisions around water management must be based in peer reviewed climate and hydrologic data

    • Allocation must be equitable, protecting the rights of tribal lands, small farms, and communites

    • Conservation measures should preserve jobs and promote green‑economy opportunities

    • We must use adaptive management to ensure our plans adapt to the ever-changing hydrologic and climate data

    • Raise the state minimum wage $26/hour and link it to inflation

    • Expand the Colorado Earned Income Tax Credit to include more Coloradans

    • Promote paid-family-leave and childcare subsidies funded in cooperation with major employers in Colorado

    • Increase funding to the Colorado Housing Investment Fund to address the shortage of affordable housing in Colorado

    • Encourage mixed-use, transit oriented development through streamlined permitting processes and tax incentives for developers who set aside at least 40% of any new development to affordable housing

    • Protect renters with a Renter’s Bill of Rights, expanding just-cause eviction protections and capping rent hikes tied to market speculation

    • Accelerate the state Renewable Portfolio Standard to 100% clean energy by 2035, prioritizing wind and solar projects on public lands

    • Launch a Thorium Reactor Inititive, studying feasibility of thorium salt reactors to produce nuclear power without any of the risks of nuclear power

    • Require AI and Crypto data centers to disclose their power and water consumption

    • Reward tech companies which invest in green energy solutions to offset their power consumption

    • Reward tech companies which use cooling that doesn’t consume fresh water, like enclosed cooling systems, different cooling fluids, or systems that capture and return water used by evaporative cooling

  • Government must be accountable to the people. One of the core reasons for voter disenfranchisement is that our politicians are only accountable to their donors and their donors aren’t looking out for the needs of the people.

    • Expand boards of county commissioners

    • Hold politicians accountable when they fail to serve their constituients in favor of their corporate overlords
